Beginner's Guide to RTI

How to file RTI online?

Earlier RTI filing was too much tenderness because it was so much time-consuming as it was an offline process. The question arises how to file rti offline? The answer is that a form was to be filled and then Rs 10 stamp was to be attached and the entire form had to be sent by post to the required department of the government. The form took about 3 to 4 days to reach the department. So many individuals who wanted to file RTI refrained from doing it. How to file rti for state government and how to file rti application by post steps are described below.

How to File RTI for State Government Departments or rti application by post?

The State Government, as per the RTI, is liable to offer the information demanded to the citizen. If the state government authority from which information is demanded fails to do so, the government authority will be penalized.

There are certain matters which are state-oriented such as the construction of issues with a street light or irrigation issues. However, if your matter relates to the departments which are related to the State, then the RTI must be filed with the state government. In case you fail to submit your RTI Application to the Public Information Officer, you can approach the State Information Commission.
